INTERIOR DESIGNER BEDSIDE TABLE STYLING TIPS

Updated: Mar 4

Interior designer bedside styling

Bedside tables sit in a personal space that should be all about you and what you love. Below I list some basic interior designer bedside table styling tips to help you create the most aesthetically pleasing space.

ANCHOR OBJECTS ON A TRAY

Anchor objects on a tray - this way, smaller items (trinkets and treasures) will feel like they have a home rather than floating on a large open space.

CONSIDER ADDING LIGHTING

Bedside lighting is such a great way of elevating the space. Decide on what you want the light for, whether it is mood or task lighting. We love our Pina and Olivia Pro cordless lamps as they are dimmable and can easily be picked up and taken with you in the night to the bathroom or to check on kids.

ADD A DISH

Add a trinket dish or similar to hold your jewellery overnight.

CONSIDER FORM/SHAPE/LAYERS

Add a sculptural element for interest and beauty. Here we have used our Ivory Fluted Pedestal Bowl as it has height and can sit above our Viola Marble Trinket Dish.

ADD BOTANICALS

Add botanicals as they bring movement, life and texture to the space. Whether it’s florals, plants, a dried look or just foliage – they complete it!
